WILLISTON, Fla — John Kasbar has officially announced the return of Third-Crop Sire Sweetontheladies to Florida. The multiple stakes winner and graded stakes performer will stand at Solera Farm in Williston for the upcoming 2026 breeding season.

His sire Twirling Candy (Candy Ride), a perennial top-tier General Sire commands a $75,000 fee, has produced 65 black-type winners and 12 Grade I winners, with progeny earnings exceeding $93 million.

He earned Graded stake status at four and five in prestigious events, placing in the Grade 1 Alfred G. Vanderbilt at Saratoga, the Grade 3 Frank J. De Francis Memorial Dash S. at Laurel Park, the Grade 3 Smile Sprint Stakes and Grade 3 Gulfstream Park Sprint Stakes at Gulfstream Park.

Sweetontheladies is already establishing a reputation for passing on his signature speed and versatility. His progeny have proven particularly effective on synthetic surfaces, highlighted by several standout performers:

Tizasweetlady – A dominant force on Gulfstream’s tapeta, she secured an 8 1/4-length victory at age two, finishing just 1 1/2 seconds shy of the track record. She continued her streak on Jan. 30, winning her sophomore debut in allowance company.

Frosty Belle – Demonstrated “all-weather” prowess by breaking her maiden with a commanding 4 1/4-length win.

Sweet Cha Cha & Red Candy Apple – Both have found the winner’s circle on synthetic tracks, further cementing the stallion’s multi-surface appeal.
