GAINESVILLE, FL—The University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine will present the 16th Annual Healthy Horses Conference from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12 at the Straughn Center, located at 2142 Shealy Drive in Gainesville.

Healthy Horses is an educational day with a focus on successful equine health care. The day includes lectures, lunch and live equine demonstrations. It is open to equine enthusiasts everywhere.

Lunch and door prizes are included in the registration. Lectures are delivered by faculty of UF’s Large Animal Hospital and a brief summary folder of the lectures will be provided to all attendees.

Topics this year include laceration care, neck pain care, equine allergies and fly products, first aid, equine uveitis, toxic plants and more.

The University of Florida is dedicated to improving owner education with this an annual event. It is an opportunity to see the hospital facility and meet veterinarians from all services. Plenty of time for questions will be provided. Registration is limited. Click here to register.
