OCALA, FL—Ocala Stud’s Joe O’ Farrell was recognized for his five years of service as president of the Marion County Florida Farm Bureau at the annual meeting of the membership in Ocala on Sept. 21. He is the longest serving president and led the county bureau to several statewide achievements and awards under his tenure. The Florida Farm Bureau Federation’s mission is to increase the net income of farmers and ranchers and to improve the quality of rural life. O’Farrell also serves as treasurer on the executive boards of the Florida Horse Park and the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders’ and Owners’ Association.
