Live Oak Plantation homebred In Her Glory, a smart winner in her second career start at Saratoga Race Course, graduates into stakes company Friday in the $100,000 Presque Isle Debutante for 2-year-old fillies going six-and-a-half furlongs on synthetic.

Trained by Michael Trombetta, the Florida-bred daughter of Constitution won a five-and-a-half-furlong maiden special weight for fillies on the grass on Aug. 16. She broke promptly from the outside post eight to press frontrunning Bibi Dahl around the turn then took a shot lead in the stretch. In Her Glory held off a late run from runner-up Sadie Earp to win by a head in 1:03.55 on the firm turf.

In Her Glory was credited with a 72 Beyer Speed Figure, which is the second top number among the 10 fillies in Friday’s contest. Kontiki, a dual stakes-winner for trainer Brad Cox, achieved a 75 Beyer two starts back when taking the $75,000 Jim Morgan Memorial Tah Dah Dash over a wet-fast five-and-a-half furlongs at Belterra Park on July 18.

Friday’s race will be the first start on an all-weather surface for In Her Glory, who was second to Hark Theangelssing in a five-furlong maiden special weight on the turf at Colonial Downs on July 19 after getting off a step slow.

In Her Glory is out of Zonda, by Scat Daddy and has earned $69,000 in her two races. In Her Glory is a half-sister to Souper Zonda, a two-time winner on grass including an allowance race at Woodbine and the only other starter for Zonda.

Joel Rosario will ride In Her Glory from post one.

Since winning the Tah Dah Dash, Kontiki also dominated the Best of Ohio Miss Ohio Stakes by 12 lengths at Thistledown on Aug. 14.

A daughter of Midshipman, Kontiki has won three of four starts for owner Stonestreet Stables LLC including a seven-and-a-quarter-length romp against special weight maidens at Horseshoe Indianapolis in her second start in May.

Kontiki has earned a field-hight $128,453 and has drawn the outside post 10.

Flavien Prat will ride.

Rounding out the field for the Presque Isle Debutante are Smooch Up with jockey Pablo Morales, Tiz Goldy and rider Willie Martinez, Antonio Gallardo rides Peach Tie, Thank You Amy has Huber Villa-Gomez taking the mount, Miss Thalia will be guided by Gaddiel A. Martinez, Song to Remember will be ridden by Manny Franco, Mia’s Go has Alexander Chavez up and the riding assignment on Cuda Cutie goes to Samuel Bermudez.
