OCALA, FL—The Florida Thoroughbred PAC golf tournament held on Friday, Oct. 4 at Stone Creek Golf Club in Ocala was won by Peterson Smith veterinarian Dr. Kevin Hahn’s team which included Paul Sharp, Kevin Keenan and Jeff Faulkner. Recently retired, Hahn fielded the team in the scramble event to produce a score of 22 under par, while second-place team, the Bruner family with Seminole Fence, finished 20 under par. In addition to excellent play in the scramble event, scores reflected the use of fundraising promotions including mulligans, a long driver promo, and hula hoop holes that knocked strokes off.
Beth Bayer was closest to the line on hole 10 and Jeff Faulkner was closest to the pin on hole 12, followed in second on both by Tom DiCillo of Pyranha Animal Health. Ty Wolfe has the longest drive on 18 followed by Travis Bruner. The promo driver hole raised $12,000 which half, $6,000, goes to the program. Breda Dean supporting Showcase Properties of Central Florida was the highest at the hole with $4,000. Lucy Puhl won $250 in a drawing and Carol Perrson guessed the number of pins in the trophy vase with 376, there were 375. The auction raised $4,730.

“I want to thank the sponsors, teams, and participants who help make this event successful each year. The horse community is generous, and we appreciate the support,” Dailey said.
“I also want to share my appreciation for the event’s co-chair Debbie Green and the Ocala Palms volunteers who ensured the event was sold out and full of excitement on course with a lot of creative fundraising promotions,” Dailey added.
