Tammy Gantt and Rebecca Ramirez represented the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders’ & Owners’ Association and the Florida Thoroughbred industry at the North Marion High School career fair on Feb. 13. More than 30 businesses were on hand to share information about industries available to students upon graduation. The school has its own equine curriculum foaling and raising foals to sell at Ocala Breeders’ Sales, meaning a steady flow of interested students to the FTBOA table to pick up the farm/service directory and equine economic impact fact cards.
