Rosie Jeeks, a Florida-bred length-and-a-quarter winner of the $102,000 Goldwood at Monmouth Park on June 21, sold for $300,000 at Tuesday’s Fasig-Tipton of Selected Horses of Racing Age Sale in Lexington, Ky.
Purchased by Narvick International at Hip 332 out of the ELITE as agent consignment, Rosie Jeeks is by World of Trouble out of Remington Rose, by Take Charge Indy. She is a half-sister to Florida-bred Balpool, by Uncaptured, winner of the $93,000 Memory of Silver at Aqueduct in 2023. Remington Rose is a half-sister to stakes-placed Twirl Girl.
Rosie Jeeks has a career record of three wins in five starts with earnings of $140,000. She broke her maiden in her first career start, winning by three-and-a-half lengths while covering six furlongs on the outer turf. She also won a first condition allowance race sprinting five-and-a-half furlongs on the Monmouth Park turf on May 25 one race prior to taking the Goldwood.
Rosie Jeeks was bred in Florida by A. Francis Vanlangendonck and Barbara Vanlangendonck.
