For 2024 all award payments derive evenly from two separate sources and therefore print on separate checks. 50% of earned awards generate from the longstanding industry ‘promotional trust fund’ consistent with normal FTBOA procedures. Florida HB7063, two-year legislation championed by the FTBOA, enables the remaining one-half of 2024 FTBOA Awards.
FTBOA anticipates a 50% increase in net Breeder/Stallion Awards and over 60% growth in Florida Racing Incentives, all driven by HB7063 in 2024.
