A filly from the first crop by multiple Grade 1-winner Tiz the Law worked a quarter mile in :20.40 to produce the fastest time at the distance during the second day of under tack works previewing the Ocala Breeders’ Sales June Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training and Horses of Racing Age.

The under tack shows will run each day through Sunday, June 9 starting at 7:30 a.m. EDT. The June Sale will be conducted three days next week, Wednesday – Friday, June 12-14 with the auction starting each day at 10:00 a.m. EDT.

Consigned as Hip 187 by Tom McCrocklin as agent, the filly is out of Southern Silence, by Dixie Union and is a half-sister to stakes-winners Liberate and Esplanande and stakes-placed runners Condemnation and Stealth Mode.

The fastest furlongs were produced by 15 juveniles Wednesday including a pair of Florida-breds in Hip 181 and Hip 314.

Hip 181 is a Florida-bred filly by first crop sire and multiple Grade 3-winner Mr. Money. Consigned by Whitman Sales LLC as agent, the bay filly is out of the Lion Heart mare Sophia, a half-sister to stakes-winner Bourbon County; stakes-placed, stakes-producer Old Fashion Girl; stakes-placed Chris Mars and graded stakes-producer Appenzell. The filly was bred in Florida by Brent and Crystal Fernung.

Hip 314 worked from the consignment of Dynasty Thoroughbreds. The Florida-bred colt is by Unified out of Uno Royale, by Macho Uno, a half-sister to graded stakes-producer Song on Royalty. Damon Ming bred the dark bay or brown colt.

Among the other 13 who clocked :10 flat eighth miles were Hip 275 and Hip 350.

Hip 275 is from the consignment of Top Line Sales LLC as agent. The chestnut colt is by Vino Rosso out of Three D Flag, by Super Saver, a half-sister to graded stakes-placed Colorful Mischief.

Hip 350 is a gray or roan colt consigned by Brandon and Ali Rice’s RiceHorse Stable as agent. The colt is by first crop sire and Grade 1-winner Gift Box out of What a Sassy Gal, by Mineshaft, making him a half-brother to stakes-placed Brazen Boy.

The Thursday under tack session will feature Hips 351 – 525 and begins at 7:30 a.m.
