A Florida-bred filly by The Big Beast sold to Randy Patterson $200,000 during the second day of the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic Sale of 2-Year-Olds In Training Tuesday. Selling as Hip 322, the chestnut filly is out of the stakes-winning mare Spring Included, by Include, a half-sister to stakes-winner Pulsion.

Consigned by Tom McCrocklin as agent, the filly is eligible for the $1.2 million Florida Sire Stakes series of races for 2-year-olds to be run later this year at Gulfstream Park. The filly was bred in Florida by Erich Brehm and Chuck Norvitz.

The Florida Sire Stakes also features the $100,000 City of Ocala and $100,000 Marion County for older horses each year at Tampa Bay Downs. Florida Sire Stakes-eligible runners compete for bonus money attached to several stakes and allowances at both Florida tracks throughout the year.
