The promising Florida-bred colt Tapit Kissit Winit, secured a resounding victory in a first level, $75,000 optional claiming at Woodbine Thursday, winning by two-and-quarter lengths against four rivals. The 2-year-old colt, owned and bred by the prestigious Live Oak Plantation, was ridden by Patrick Husbands and finished in a final time of 1:39.05 for one mile on the grass.

Runner Eyes was second with Lazio third. As the 3-5 post time favorite, Tapit Kissit Winit paid $3.20 for a $2 win bet.

Trainer Mark Casse has guided the colt to a perfect record thus far, with two wins from two starts. Tapit Kissit Winit’s racing career began with a bang on Sept. 8, when he broke his maiden by a length-and-a-quarter in a five-furlong maiden special weight on the Woodbine turf.

Tapit Kissit Winit earned $44,280 for the victory to push his career bankroll to $64,072.
