TAMPA, FL—Tampa Bay Downs has announced revisions to its 2026-2027 stakes schedule, highlighted by the addition of the Grade 3 Tampa Bay and the Grade 3 Endeavour to Festival Preview Day on Saturday, February 6, 2027.

The decision to move the two graded stakes races to Festival Preview Day enhances the day’s stakes lineup, which already features the Suncoast (Listed), the Listed Sam F. Davis (Listed), the Listed Pelican and the $125,000 Minaret Stakes.

The Sam F. Davis is on the Road to the Kentucky Derby with the first five finishers earning qualifying points for the Run for the Roses.

“After closer examination of the national stakes calendar, we saw an opportunity to enhance the prestige of Festival Preview Day with the addition of the Endeavour Stakes and the Tampa Bay Stakes,” Tampa Bay Downs General Manager Peter Berube said.

The Tampa Bay, for 4-year-olds and older on the turf, and the Endeavour, for fillies and mares 4-years-old and older on the turf, each carry a guaranteed purse of $175,000.

The revised stakes schedule continues to feature a strong lineup of racing throughout the 2026-2027 meet, including Festival Day on Saturday, March 6, 2027, highlighted by the Grade 3 $500,000 ESMARK Tampa Bay Derby and Florida Cup Day, featuring six $110,000 stakes for Florida-breds on Sunday, March 28, 2027.
