The Ocala Art Group Fall Show titled, Reflections of Farm Life in Marion County, will be on exhibit at the Conservation Summit hosted by Horse Farms Forever on November 12 at the Circle Square Cultural Center at 8395 SW 80th Street in Ocala. A portion of the proceeds from sales of the artwork originals benefits the Florida thoroughbred industry.

The exhibit which features equine, native cattle, native scenes of Florida and wildlife fits into the Summit’s theme of conservation and land preservation. Speaker Carlton Ward will be talking about the Great Florida Cattle Drive event and how Florida’s ranching heritage can help shape the future of farmland preservation and the Florida Wildlife Corridor.

Currently the show is at the On Top of the World communities’ Master the Possibilities lobby at 8415 SW 80th Street in Ocala until November 12. The exhibit debuted at the Florida Thoroughbred Legend Brunch and Fashion Show at The Club at Iron Lake in Ocala earlier this month.

The exhibit will be at the UF/IFAS Marion County Extension Auditorium for the Marion County Agriculture Hall of Fame Induction dinner on November 16. The show theme aligns with Marion County’s Farm City Week events recognizing agriculture contributions and land conservation/preservation. The auditorium is at 2232 NE Jacksonville Road in Ocala.

The Florida Thoroughbred Breeders’ and Owners’ Association Museum, 801 SW 60th Avenue in Ocala, hosts November 26 through December 15. The show concludes on the National Day of the Horse on December 15.
