OCALA, FL—The Under Tack Show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company’s 2024 March Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training begins Wednesday.
There are four sessions, with Hips 1 – 213 breezing the first day. Hips 214 – 426 will work Thursday, Hips 427 – 639 will breeze on Friday with Hips 640 – 853 going to the track on Saturday. All four sessions begin at 8:00 a.m. Under Tack Show results are posted on the OBS website.
A total of 849 juveniles are cataloged for the three-day sale, including 41 2-year-olds for the complete dispersal of prominent breeding and racing Lothenbach Stables, Inc.
The sale is set for Tuesday March 12 through Thursday March with all sessions starting at 11:00 a.m. Hips 1 – 284 will sell Tuesday; Hips 285 – 568 on Wednesday and Hips 569 – 853 on Thursday.
The Under Tack Show will be streamed live via the OBS website at obssales.com. The workouts are recorded and can be viewed on the website, in their entirety or by individual hip number. They will also be available in the Video Room at the Sale grounds as well as several kiosks in the breezeway and covered walking ring. Walking videos and conformation photos may be available in addition to under tack videos for each horse. Visitors to Ocala will find the videos available for in-room viewing at The Courtyard by Marriott, Holiday Inn & Suites, Homewood Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Residence Inn and the Ocala Hilton, plus lounge viewing is available at the Hilton.
