James (Jim) Salvatore DiMare of Ocala passed away on Thursday, Dec. 11, 2025, at E.W. Lewis & Lucille Cates House in Ocala.

Jim was born in Boston, Massachusetts and moved to Ocala from Miami, Florida in 1984. Survivors include his daughters Linda (Mark) DiMare, Atlanta, Georgia; Debbie (Dave) Graham, Prattville, Alabama; Suzanne (John) Crawford, Lithia, Florida; son James (Kimber) DiMare, Ocala, Florida; and daughter Stephanie (Scot) Kyle, Dickson, Tennessee. Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Sheila A. DiMare.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 5 SE 17 Street, Ocala, Florida 34471, followed by interment at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens, 5050 SW 20 Street, Ocala, FL
