EDITED PRESS RELEASE
Morriston, FL—Pleasant Acres Stallions today announced the arrival of Magic on Tap’s first foal—a filly out of Sea Gazer, a daughter of four-time Grade 1-winner of nearly $6.5 million, Tiznow. The filly arrived Jan. 17 just after midnight.
The was bred by Scott Miller, who breeds both in Florida and New York.
“The moment Magic on Tap stepped off the van upon his arrival at Pleasant Acres Stallions, we knew he would produce exceptional foals,” Director of Stallion Services Christine Jones said. “His very first foal is a filly with good bone, great conformation and looks to be very racy. She is everything we expected.”
Magic on Tap began his stallion career at Pleasant Acres Stallions in 2023 and stands for $5,000.
Bred on the same cross as Constitution and Essential Quality, Magic on Tap comes from an exceptional generational female line of accomplished racehorses. His first dam—Aubby K, by Street Sense—was a Grade 1-winner and in 2015 was purchased in foal with Magic on Tap for $2.4 million at the Fasig-Tipton November Fall Mixed Sale. His second dam, Lilly Capote, and third dam, London Lil, were both graded-stakes winners.
After breaking his maiden in his debut going six-and-a-half furlongs, Magic on Tap went on to win the Grade 2 Triple Bend at Santa Anita by two lengths. He is a son of Tapit, one of the dominant sires of his era who stands in Kentucky for $185,000 in 2024.
