Thursday Under Tack Session Postponed to Friday Due to Weather

A filly by Instagrand produced the fastest quarter mile during Wednesday’s under tack show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Spring Sale, stopping the clock in :20.60.
The Wednesday under tack session was the fourth of seven breeze shows being conducted for the prestigious OBS Spring Sale.
The Thursday under tack session has been cancelled due to weather and will resume with Hips 691-863 hitting the track Friday. Hips 864-1035 will work Saturday and Hips 1036-1208 will work Sunday. Each under tack session begins at 8:00 a.m. EDT.
The four-day OBS Spring Sale will be conducted Tuesday through Friday, with each session beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Hips 519-690 worked Wednesday and Hips 691-863 go to the track Thursday.
Consigned as Hip 551 by Hoppel LLC as agent, the bay filly is out of Runaway Renee, by Munnings and hails from the family of stakes-winners Hey Hey Renee and Ride On Ice.
Eighteen juveniles tied for the fastest eighth-mile works including Hip 587, a Florida-bred colt consigned by Best A Luck Farm LLC as agent. The gray or roan colt is by The Factor out of Scoop of Gold, by Giant’s Causeway and is a half-brother to Grade 3 Eatontown-winner Medea (Ire), who also produced stakes-placed Sunny Dale. The colt was bred in Florida by Cornerstone Thoroughbreds LLC.
There were two quarter-mile works in :20.80 by Hips 528 and 578, both consigned by Tom McCrocklin as agent.
Hip 529 is a daughter from the first crop by multiple Grade 1-winner Vekoma out of Respect, a half-sister to Belmont (G1)-winner Point Given; stakes-placed Deher’s Turn; stakes-placed, stakes producer Point Gained, graded stakes-placed Live for Now; graded stakes-producer Perfect Story and stakes-producer Lambert Point.
Hip 578 is a son of Medaglia d’Oro out of Saucy Dame, by Distorted Humor, a half-sister to Grade 3-winner Buffum, Grade 3-placed and Grade 3 producer Renaissance Lady, stakes-placed Value Stream and stakes producer Prima Beauty.
