Her Blind Side and Coracoracora both won their first career starts on Saturday, June 22 to give Pleasant Acres Stallions resident Bodexpress his first two winners as a sire.

Her Blind Side was the first to hit the winner’s circle after taking a maiden special weight for 2-year-old fillies at Emerald Downs. Ridden by Alex Cruz for trainer Candice Cryderman, Her Blind Side battled on the rail with Ruby Rendezvous early in the four-and-a-half-furlong test. Ruby Rendezvous took a length lead into the stretch before Her Blind Side shifted to the outside to take the lead and hold off 8-5 favorite Shesayshello to win by a neck.

She finished in :53.17 on the fast track and paid $8.66 to win.

Her Blind Side is out of the Florida-bred mare Holograeme, by Graeme Hall and earned $7,685 for owner John E. Parker. She was bred in California by Richard Barton Enterprises and Robert Traynor.

Coracoracora then won going five furlongs at Pleasanton Fair Grounds Racetrack for trainer Blaine Wright. Alexander Chavez rode Coracoracora to a three-quarters of a length victory against maiden special weight fillies and is owned by Randy Morris. 

Coracoracora is out of Vai, by Tapizar and was bred in California by Richard Burton Enterprises.

Bodexpress is by Bodemeister out of Pied a Terre, by City Zip and won the Grade 1 Clark presented by Norton Healthcare at Churchill Downs during his career. He stood during the 2024 breeding season for a fee of $3,500.
