Magdalena Racing, Savvy Stables and Steve Dervenis’ Florida-bred Decadent has been labeled as the 5-2 second choice in the $135,000 Oaklawn Anywhere Overnight Stakes, a six-furlong test for 10 sophomore fillies at Oaklawn Park Sunday.

The Kenneth McPeek trainee makes her first start since Nov. 27 at Churchill Downs when second to multiple stakes-placed Florida-bred Fede in a second condition, $125,000 optional claiming for fillies going a mile.

Decadent won her first career start in December of last year, taking a maiden special weight for fillies over a sloppy seven furlongs at Gulfstream Park then took a first condition, $200,000 optional claiming going a mile-and-sixteenth at Oaklawn on March 1. She was given more than five months off before returning unsuccessfully, finishing tenth of 13 in the $200,000 Catherine Sophia at Parx Racing on Aug. 19 then ran third in the Grade 3 Winter Memories going a mile on the inner turf during the Belmont at Big A meet on Sept. 20. In one other start, on the turf during the Belmont at Big A meet in October, she was seventh in the nine-furlong Sands Point (G2).

By Girvin out of One More Time, by Istan, Decadent has earned $165,660 in her six career starts. She was bred in Florida by the late Brereton C. Jones.

Emmanuel Esquivel will ride Decadent from post three.

Thomas Amoss will saddle 8-5 morning line favorite Modo, a two-length winner of a second condition, $125,000 optional claiming for fillies going six-and-a-half furlongs at Churchill Downs on Nov. 14 in her last start.

Victorious in the $75,000 Bara Lass for Texas-bred fillies at Sam Houston Race Park in January, Modo has earned $199,998 for owner Joel Politi. The career record for the daughter of Liam’s Map reflects three wins, two seconds and a third in seven starts.

Modo has post six and will be ridden by Luis Saez.

Rounding out the field are Caliente Star with jockey Francisco Arrieta, Baytown Butterfly and rider Ramon Vasquez, Foie Gras has Ricardo Santana Jr. taking the reins, Going Steady with Rafael Bejarano in the irons, Christian Torres rides Keyana, Bachelor Party with Tyler Bacon taking the call, Evin Roman will be aboard Coaster and Julien Leparoux rides Anakarina.
