Longtime Florida Thoroughbred Breeders’ and Owners’ Association Registration and Payments Coordinator Sheila Budden retired on Dec. 31, ending a 15-year tenure with the company. She has been replaced as Registration and Payments Coordinator by Kristin Vasquez of Silver Springs, Florida, who joined the Association in September.

Vasquez, who previously worked at Nan’s Farm in Ocala, assumes the role of assisting members with Florida-bred and Florida stallion registrations, membership and all other FTBOA payments and deadlines including those associated with the FTBOA Florida Sire Stakes.

“I am excited to join the FTBOA team and over the last several months have enjoyed serving and assisting members with the registration and payments needs,” Vasquez said.
