On Jan. 24 at noon, Central Florida SCORE is hosting a free online presentation by Amy Neale of the USDA Farm Service Agency targeting current and new farmers to share resources available, including helpful websites to research business plans, the amounts and terms of USDA loans available, and current interest rates for farm loans. Neale, a Florida native with a passion for agriculture, attended the College of Central Florida where she obtained her Agriculture Business degree. She has shown horses and worked in the equine industry throughout Florida, owned and operated a small cow/calf operation in Okeechobee, and now works for the USDA Farm Service Agency in Gainesville, Fla. She has been with the agency for four years, serving farmers as a loan officer for North Central Florida counties.
Funded in part through a Cooperative Agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, SCORE is the nation’s largest network of volunteer, expert business mentors, with 10,000 volunteers serving all 50 U.S. states and territories.
Since its founding in 1964 as a resource partner for the U.S. Small Business Administration, SCORE has helped more than 11 million current and aspiring entrepreneurs start, grow or successfully exit a business through mentoring, resources and education.
