Florida-breds R Harper Rose, a graded-stakes winner; and Spirit Wind, a multiple graded-stakes winner; are among 122 entries cataloged for the Fasig-Tipton March Digital Sale, which may be viewed at digital.fasigtipton.com.
Bidding is now open and will close Tuesday, March 18, at 2:00 p.m. EDT.
The catalogue offers horses of racing age, breeding stock—including mares with foals at foot, 2-year-olds in training, yearlings and a no guarantee season to Nyquist.
“We have great quality in this March sale, including graded stakes winning racing/broodmare prospects and graded stakes producers,” Fasig-Tipton Director of Digital Sales Leif Aaron said. “There are exciting offerings for breeders and in-form racehorses that are ready-to-go for spring racing.”
Offerings of interest include:
- R Harper Rose (Hip 7): Florida-bred graded-stakes winner and multiple stakes winner whose victories include last year’s Forward Gal S. (G3) at Gulfstream Park. Offered as a racing/broodmare prospect by Gainesway, agent.
- Curls For Girls (Hip 14): Dam of recent Gotham S. (G3) winner Flood Zone, who is pointing for UAE Derby (G2) next. Offered in foal to Arabian Lion, she is consigned by Four Star Sales, agent for Westbury Stables.
- Laulne (FR) (Hip 18): Four-year-old racing/broodmare prospect was a group stakes winner in France at 2 and a stakes winner, graded stakes placed, in North America last year at 3. Placed in her latest start in the Wishing Well S. at Santa Anita on February 22, she is consigned as a racing/broodmare prospect by Elite, agent.
- Katonah (Hip 21): Winner of January’s San Pasqual S. (G2) at Santa Anita. A multiple stakes winner of more than $480,000, Katonah is offered as a horse of racing age by Doug O’Neill, agent.
- Spirit Wind (Hip 22): A Florida-bred multiple graded stakes winner whose victories include last year’s Honorable Miss H. (G2) at Saratoga. A six-time stakes winner of more than $700,000, she is offered as a racing/broodmare prospect by Taylor Made Sales Agency, agent.
