Florida-breds I Know I Know and Gabaldon are among a dozen 2-year-olds entered for Saturday’s $100,000 Royal Palm Juvenile at Gulfstream Park, which offers a travel stipend and an invitation to one of six juvenile stakes at Royal Ascot in Great Britain later this summer. The two Florida-breds will be running for an additional $20,000 Top 3 bonus presented by the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders’ and Owners’ Association.
The Royal Palm Juvenile will co-headline Saturday’s Gulfstream card with the $100,000 Royal Palm Juvenile Fillies, which also gives the winner a travel stipend and an invitation to a Royal Ascot juvenile stakes and has a $20,000 FTBOA Top 3 bonus for Florida-breds.
Both races are scheduled for five furlongs on the turf.
Trained and co-owned by Patrick Biancone with Amy E. Dunne, I Know I Know has several solid works on the turf at Palm Meadows Downs, including a four-furlong breeze in :46 flat on May 5, the fastest among the 21 works at the distance. He also clocked four furlongs in :47 flat on April 24, the second fastest among 12 works at the distance that day.
I Know I Know is by Jess’s Dream out of the winning Florida-bred mare Prove Me, by Big Drama. Biancone owned and trained Prove Me and bred I Know I Know.

Jose D’Angelo trains Gabaldon for Soldi Stable LLC and has given the riding assignment to Emisael Jaramillo.
Gabaldon comes into the race working four furlongs in :48.80 on the dirt at Palm Meadows on May 4, the fifth fastest of 18 at the distance. The gray or roan colt worked four furlongs in :47.80 on the turf at Palm Meadows on April 26, the five fastest of 23 at the distance.
Gabaldon is by Gone Astray out of the unraced Value Plus mare Valuable Miss and was bred in Florida by Carol Ann Reitman, Susan Gannon and Warren Miller. He was purchased by his current owners for $9,000 out of the Get Away Farm consignment at last year’s Ocala Breeders’ Sales October Sale.
Gabaldon has post seven.
Others set for the Royal Palm Juvenile are Makeit to Cheyenne with Sonny Leon as the rider, Enterdadragon and jockey Leonel Reyes, Madroc will be guided by Egdar Perez, Classy War will be ridden by Jose Morelos, Edgard Zayas has been named on Reach for the Rose, Raise the Bar and jockey Walter Rodriguez, Bright Skittle will have Luca Panici up, Governor Sam and pilot Edwin Gonzalez, Incanto (Ire) will carry Hector Diaz Jr. and Miguel Vasquez has the assignment on Garden of War.
