BY BROCK SHERIDAN

After losing her rider at the start of the $175,000 Schuylerville, Florida-bred Whatintheliteral looks to return to her stakes-winning form Sunday when she faces eight other 2-year-old fillies in the Grade 3 Adirondack at Saratoga Race Course. The Jena Antonucci-trained filly won the $150,000 Astoria at Saratoga on June 6 but was unable to repeat that victory after stumbling badly at the start of the Schuylerville, tossing rider Javier Castellano.

The $200,000 Adirondack will also act as the fourth match-up between Whatintheliteral and Schuylerville-winner The Queens M G, who is the 7-2 second choice in the six-and-a-half-furlong contest.

The Queens M G finished seventh in the Astoria after encountering trouble at the start and won a Keeneland maiden special weight in April in which Whatintheliteral was fifth in the first career start for both.

The daughter of Briardale Farm stallion Social Inclusion is out of Cold Hearted Pearl, by Parading and is a homebred for Joseph M. Imbesi. She is trained by Jamie Ness and earned $24,000 in her lone start.

Social Fortress will be ridden by Ricardo Santana Jr. from post five and she is 6-1 on the morning line.

Wesley Ward will saddle the expected favorite in White Sands, a nearly 14-length winner of the $101,000 Prairie Gold Juvenile at Prairie Meadows in her last start on July 6. The daughter of Into Mischief won her debut by nearly 10 lengths against maiden special weight fillies at Belterra Park on May 25 in her only other starts.

White Sands is 3-1 in the program and has earned $70,354 in her two victories. She has post eight and jockey Frankie Detorri.
