This handsome Florida-bred colt is standing next to his dam, the unraced Hit It a Bomb mare Miss Perfectus, at Pleasant Acres Stallions in Morriston, Florida. By Pleasant Acres’ popular stallion Verifying and bred in Florida by Blue River Bloodstock, the colt was foaled on April 18. He is the second foal out of Miss Perfectus, who has an unnamed yearling colt also by Verifying.
Miss Perfectus is out of the Pleasantly Perfect mare Pleasant Aspect, a half-sister to stakes-winner Sungold Skippy. Her second dam, Hurricane Amy, is a half-sister to Grade 3-winner Amy Be Good.
This attractive Florida-bred filly foaled March 3 at Pleasant Acres Stallions in Morriston, Florida is by Mr Fisk, who stands at Pleasant Acres, out of the graded stakes-placed Sir Percy (GB) mare Enjoy Yourself (GB). Second in the 2016 Florida Oaks (G3), Enjoy Yourself has produced seven foals, of which three are winners from four starters.
This filly was bred in Florida by Dr. Matt and Lona Vuskovich of Gainesville, Florida in the name of their Matalona Thoroughbreds. They purchased Enjoy Yourself for $9,000 in foal to Paynter at the 2022 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale. In addition to this Mr Fisk filly, Enjoy Yourself has since produced as yearling colt by Pleasant Acres Stallions’ resident Magic On Tap.
Enjoy Yourself is out of the Grade 3-placed, stakes-winning Foresty mare, Refrost, who also produced stakes-placed Aragonda Princess and stakes-producer Miss Foreesta.
