This Florida-bred filly at Oakleaf Farm is by Mr Fisk and is the third foal out of the Florida-bred Astern (Aus) mare Kelsey’s Shot. Bred in Florida by Ian Parsard, the filly is a half-sister to Line Astern, an unraced 2-year-old colt by Divisidero; and an unnamed yearling colt by Pleasant Acres Stallion’s Simplification. Purchased by Paradise of Ocala for $5,000 out of the 2024 Fasig-Tipton Digital Sale while in foal Simplification, Kelsey’s Shot is a half-sister to Grade 3-placed, stakes-winner and graded stakes-producer Coppa and multiple graded stakes-placed, stakes-winner Tropic Storm.
