This filly at Liz Wilson’s Oakleaf Farm in Ocala is the second foal out of the winning Speightstown mare Grand Oak (Ire). Born April 17 and owned and bred by Tami D. Bobo of Ocala, the filly is by Pleasant Acres Stallions resident Simplification and is a full sister to an unnamed yearling filly, also bred in Florida by Bobo.

Grand Oak just missed being stakes-placed with three fourth-place finishes in the US$101,869 Catch a Glimpse (Listed) at Woodbine, the $128,000 Exacta Systems Rosie’s at Colonial Downs and in the $99,900 Presque Isle Downs Debutante, all in 2022.

Second dam Lady Oak (Ire), by Arcano, was a winner in Ireland and was stakes-placed, finishing third in the 2017 HBPA Stakes at Presque Isle Downs, earning $133,972.
