This Florida-bred colt foaled March 19 is seen at Pleasant Acres Stallions in Morriston, Florida. Bred in Florida by Rosedown Racing Stables, the colt is by Pleasant Acres Stallions resident Champions Dream and is the foal out of the unraced Munnings mare Hurricane Ridge.

Hurricane Ridge is out of the Hard Spun mare Waving Flags, a half-sister to Grade 3-placed, stakes-winner Oliver Zip and Grade 2-placed Kay Kay.

This Florida-bred colt by Pleasant Acres Stallions’ Magic On Tap out of the stakes-placed Havana Gold (Ire) mare Belacqua (Ire). Foaled April 4 at Pleasant Acres Stallions, the colt was bred in Florida by Dr. Matt and Lona Vuskovich of Gainesville, Florida in the name of their Matalona Thoroughbreds. Matalona Thoroughbreds purchased Belacqua for $12,000 in foal to Aloha West at the 2023 Keeneland November Breeding Stock Sale.

This colt is the third foal out of Belacaqu, including Calusa, the unraced 2-year-old by Aloha West; and an unnamed yearling colt, also by Magic On Tap. Belacqua is a half-sister to Group 3-placed stakes-winner Keshiro.
