This Florida-bred filly was foaled on Valentine’s Day, February 14 at Shadow Run Farm in Williston, Florida. She is by Bolt d’Oro out of the winning Outwork mare Khushbu and was bred by Jennifer Anne Johnson, Gillian Kathleen Johnson; and Richard and Lis Kent.
Khushbu, a half-sister to stakes-winner Proud Azteca, was purchased by Jennifer and Gillian Johnson for $10,000 in foal to Early Voting at the 2025 Ocala Breeders’ Sales Winter Mixed Sales where she was consigned by Journeyman Bloodstock Services. The resulting filly, Runway Model, sold for $62,000 to Colin Brennan Bloodstock c/o Highlander Training Center out of Richard Kent’s Kaizen Sales consignment at the 2026 OBS Winter Mixed Sales. Khushbu has produced a total of four foals, of which two are non-winning starters.
This Florida-bred colt by Independence Hall was foaled just a few hours after this year’s Kentucky Derby (G1) on May 3 at Shadow Run Farm in Willison, Florida. Bred in Florida by Jennifer Anne Johnson and Gillian Kathleen Johnson, the colt is out of the winning Lookin At Lucky mare Jilly, who was purchased for $4,200 by Jennifer and Gillian Johnson at the 2022 OBS Winter Mixed Sale in foal to Ocala Stud stallion Win Win Win out of the Sue Vacek consignment. The resulting filly, winner R Wins Aren’t Luck, is a two-time graduate of OBS, selling first for $30,000 to Leisa Breeden out of Richard Kent’s Kaizen Sales consignment. She also sold for $90,000 to Stephen Skaggs, agent for Averill Racing at the 2024 OBS Spring Sale of 2-year-olds in training where she was consigned by Chetley and Nellie Breeden’s Grade One Investments as agent.
Jilly has produced five foals with three starters and two winners. She has an unraced 2-year-old filly, Follow Lisa D, by Ocala Stud’s hot freshman sire Roadster. Follow Lisa D is also a two-time graduate of OBS, first selling for $20,000 to Andres Gaspar out of the Kaizen Sales consignment at the 2025 Winter Mixed Sale. She brought $47,000 at this year’s OBS Spring Sale where Steven Dwoskin selected her out of the A. G. Sales consignment.
Jilly is a half-sister to Lucky Black, producer of multiple Grade 3-winner Informative, stakes-producer Violation and Sorrow’s River, granddam of Grade 3-placed Ultra Black.
