A Florida-bred filly by Yaupon cataloged as Hip 172 sold to Marshall Taylor as agent for Red White and Blue for $275,000 Tuesday night during the second day of the Fasig-Tipon Saratoga Sale.
Consigned by Francis and Barbara Vanlangendonck’s Summerfield as agent, the bay filly is out of Stormbeforethecalm, by Quiet American and was bred by Summerfield Sales Agency and Etarip Stables. The filly is a half-sister to multiple graded stakes-placed, stakes-winning Florida-bred Proven Strategies and multiple stakes-winning Florida-bred Corona Bolt.
Stormbeforethecalm is a half-sister to stakes-winners Cool Catomine, Master Spy and Wild Catomine and stakes-placed runners Crowns Dynasty and Goldmine Cat.
