Florida-bred Rogueish Colt Works Fastest Three Furlongs

Florida-bred fillies by Bucchero and The Big Beast were two of the fastest juveniles to work an eighth mile Friday while a Florida-bred filly by Ocala Stud’s first crop sire Win Win Win produced one of two bullet quarter-mile works. It was the fourth day of under tack works previewing the Ocala Breeders’ Sales June Sale of Two-Year-Olds in Training and Horses of Racing Age.

The June Sale will be conducted three days next week, Wednesday through Friday, June 12-14 with the auction starting each day at 10:00 a.m. EDT.

The filly by Bucchero and The Big Beast filly joined a Justify filly in producing :9.80 times for one-eighth of a mile.

Offered as Hip 568, the Bucchero filly worked from the consignment of Cruzin’ Thoroughbreds LLC as agent. She is out of Deed, by Exploit and is a half-sister to stakes-placed and graded stakes-producer Ek Haseena. Deed is a half-sister to stakes-winner Tickleyourfancy and graded stakes-placed Flirt With Fortune.

Bred in Florida by Francis and Barbara Vanlangendonck, the filly is eligible for the lucrative FTBOA Florida Sire Stakes, highlighted by the $1.2 million stakes series of races for 2-year-olds to be run later this year at Gulfstream Park.

Eligible Florida Sire Stakes runners compete for purse bonuses in selected stakes and overnight races throughout the year at Gulfstream Park and Tampa Bay Downs.

Iran Farla Corporation LLC as agent will sell the filly by The Big Beast as Hip 657. She is out of Force of Passion, by Limehouse, a half-sister to multiple Grade 2-winner Pontchatrain. The filly was bred in Florida by Emcee Stables LLC.

The Justify filly is out of the Summer Squall mare Etching, a half-sister to Grade 3-placed, graded stakes-producer Allez Marie and stakes-placed Kentucky Reign. Selling as Hip 624, the filly breezed from the consignment of Hartley/DeRenzo Thoroughbreds LLC.

Cataloged as Hip 633, the filly by Grade 1 Forego-winner Win Win Win worked two furlongs in :20.80 from the Ocala Stud consignment. A half-sister to Grade 3-placed Courteous, she is out of Famous, by Vindication, a half-sister to Grade 1-placed, stakes-winner Tomahawk; stakes-producer Invitation and graded stakes-producer Diamond Corner. Bred by Ocala Stud, the filly is eligible for the FTBOA Florida Sire Stakes.

Also clocking a :20.80 quarter mile was Hip 569, a filly by Complexity from the consignment of Tom McCrocklin as agent. She is out of the Congrats mare Deedeezee, a half-sister to Grade 3-placed, stakes-winner The Reds; Grade 2-placed Zee Drop, stakes-placed Sunset Louise and stakes-producer Sucat.

Hip 589, a Florida-bred son of Solera Farm stallion Rogueish consigned by MRM Thoroughbreds, sped a rapid three-eighths in :32.80, the fastest work at the distance. The bay colt is out of Doll Face by Leroidesanimaux (Brz), a half-sister to stakes placed Awesome Anywhere. The colt was bred by Edward A. Seltzer & Beverly S. Seltzer and is eligible for the FTBOA Florida Sire Stakes.

The under tack show resumes Saturday with Hips 701-875 scheduled to breeze.
