A winner of two of her last three including a two-length score last out, Florida-bred Éclair Blanc looks to make it two consecutive victories in a first condition, $16,000 optional claiming at Parx Racing Wednesday. Éclair Blanc is the 8-5 morning line favorite among the seven fillies and mares set to go six-and-a-half furlongs on the main track for a purse of $50,000.

Éclair Blanc and jockey Dexter Haddock were impressive last out against non-winners of two, $75,000 optional claiming fillies and mares going six-and-a-half furlongs at Parx, coming from off the pace to win going away.

The 3-year-old daughter of Funtastic broke her maiden two races back in her tenth career start going six furlongs at Parx on Aug. 27 before finishing fourth in a $30,000 optional claiming won by Brzina at Parx on Sept. 21. 

Éclair Blanc has a career record of two wins, three seconds and a third in 12 starts while earning $110,080. Out of Sweet Sway, by Freud, she was bred in Florida by Ruben Sanchez and was purchased by trainer Louis Linder Jr. for $50,000 out of Sanchez’s Really and Truly Thoroughbreds consignment at the 2023 Ocala Breeders’ Sales June Sale

Éclair Blanc now races for Mark Conway’s Conway Racing LLC, Over the Moon Racing and Innovest BC LLC.

Haddock gets the return mount and they will break from post two.

The 9-5 second choice on the morning line is Shetalkstomuch for trainer Esteban Padilla.

The 6-year-old mare was claimed by owner Top Notch Racing for $15,000 out of a second-place finish to Aegean Sea going six furlongs at Parx three races back. She won her first race for Top Notch Racing, a six-and-a-half-furlong allowance at Parx on Sept. 24, before finishing second last out to Confirmed Star in a second condition, $40,000 optional claiming going six-and-a-half furlongs at Parx on Oct. 8.

Shetalkstomuch is by Uptowncharlybrown and has won four with 11 seconds and 15 thirds in 51 lifetime starts with earnings of $246,006. 

Abner Adorno will ride Shetalkstomuch from post four.

Rounding out the field are Et’s Moon Maiden and jockey Paco Lopez, Bella Queen with rider Andrew Wolfsont, Beautiful Bolt will have Andy Hernandez aboard, Wilfred Vasquez rides Chance Occurance and J Willard will be ridden by Adam Bowman.
