Souper Thunderbolt, a Florida-bred colt by Uncle Mo and cataloged as Hip 302, sold for $650,000, during the second session of Book 1 at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale Tuesday. Consigned by Warrendale Sales as agent for FTBOA Hall of Fame member Charlotte Weber’s Live Oak Stud based in Ocala, the colt was purchased by Spendthrift Farm LLC.

The colt is out of Let It Ride Mom, winner of the 2018 Whimsical (Grade 3) and 2016 Listed Glorious Song, both over the synthetic main track at Woodbine. Let It Ride Mom has two winners from three starters and five foals. Let It Ride Mom is a half-sister to Grade 3-producer A Plus and stakes-producer Sealaunch.
