Florida-bred All Class won for the second time in three starts with a convincing victory in a second condition, $75,000 optional claiming at Saratoga Wednesday. Owned and trained by Linda Rice, All Class won by five-and-three-quarters lengths in the field of nine fillies and mares going six-and-a-half furlongs for a purse of $115,000.

All Class and jockey Kendrick Carmouche raced a close-up third down the backstretch behind 20-1 longshot Caress and The Big Calhouna, who was favored at 3-5 as part of an entry with Everyoneloveslinda. After a quick half-mile in :45.22, Carmouche guided All Class around the two frontrunners and she shot to the front as they came out of the turn. All Class kicked clear in the lane to win by five-and-three-quarters lengths in 1:16.98 on the fast track. Caress held strong for second by a neck ahead of Prince Madison in third. Goodnightgodbless, Everyoneloveslinda, The Big Calhouna, C’Est Cheese, Flowers for Me and Midtown Lights finished in that order. Golden Degree was scratched.

All Class paid $23.60 to win.

Claimed by Rice for $62,500 in October at Keeneland, All Class has a productive record of  two wins, two seconds and a third in seven starts since. Two starts back, the 5-year-old daughter of Kantharos won a first level, $50,000 optional claiming going six furlongs on a sloppy track on May 9 during the Belmont at Big A meet. Last out on June 13 in her first race on grass and first against second level, $75,000 optional claimers she was fifth, less than six lengths behind winner Risk Threshold going six furlongs, again during the Belmont at Big A season.

All Class improved her career mark to five wins in 12 starts with three seconds and a third and now has $246,61 in career earnings.

Bred in Florida by Rustlewood Farm Inc., All Class is out of Commentary, by The Factor. She is a graduate of the 2021 Ocala Breeders’ Sales October Yearling Sale where consigned by Summerfield and purchased by Span Investments for $7,000.
