WILLISTON, FL—The first reported foal of 2024 by Journeyman Stud stallion Chance It, a colt bred by Edgar Coto, was born on Jan. 12 in Morriston, Fla. The colt is out of the Henrythenavigator mare Navigatorsdaughter.
Chance It amassed $583,330 in career earnings while winning the $100,000 FTBOA Florida Sire Stakes Dr. Fager at six furlongs and the $400,000 FTBOA Florida Sire Stakes In Reality at a mile-and-a-sixteenth as a 2-year-old in 2019, the year he was named by the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders’ and Owners’ Association the champion Florida-bred 2-year-old colt or gelding.
As a 3-year-old, Chance It won the $100,000 Mucho Macho Man then the following year finished third in the Grade 1 Forego and second in the Grade 3 Smile Sprint Invitational.
Chance It is by Currency Swap out of Vagabond Diva, by Pleasantly Perfect.
His fee for 2024 is $2,000, live foal, stands and nurses.
