Fasig-Tipton has catalogued 110 entries for its May Digital Sale, which may be viewed at digital.fasigtipton.com. Bidding is now open and will close on Tuesday, May 14, beginning at 2 p.m. EDT.
The catalogue offers breeding stock, horses of racing, 2-year-olds and yearlings.
There are eight Florida-breds cataloged including:
Hip 3, Rapturous, a 5-year-old, stakes-placed daughter of Kantharos believed to be among the first mares in foal to multiple Grade 1-winner Forte consigned by Grovendale Sales as agent;
Hip 4, Seek, a 4-year-old daughter of Tiznow that is a half-sister to stakes-winner Inthewinnerscircle and believed to be among the first mares in foal to Gunite. She is consigned by Machmer Hall Sales as agent;
Hip 7, Tapthedrum, a 4-year-old maiden son of Tapit that is a half-brother to two-time champion Monomoy Girl and Grade 2-winner Mr. Monomoy consigned by Bridlewood Farm;
Hip 36, Graded stakes-placed Mystic Lake, a 4-year-old daughter of Mo Town consigned by Boutte Sales;
Hip 67, True to You, a stakes-placed mare by Scat Daddy believed to be in foal to Vekoma consigned by Machmer Hall Sales as agent;
Hip 75, Cajun Dove, a 3-year-old daughter of Stonehedge Farm South stallion Cajun Breeze that is a half-sister to stakes-winners Caviar N Champagne and Happy to Go. She is consigned by Boutte Sales;
Hip 81, Doctor’s Orders, a 3-year-old gelding by Ocala Stud stallion Awesome Slew and a half-brother to Grade 3-winner Yes I Am Free consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency as agent for D J Stables LLC Graduate;
Hip 109, Halon, a 3-year-old gelding and winner by Flameaway consigned by Taylor Made Sales Agency as agent for D J Stables LLC Graduate.
Other breeding stock offerings include the first mares in foal to Elite Power, Mage, Taiba, and Up To The Mark. Also on offer are mares in foal to leading sires Constitution, Into Mischief, and Not This Time.
“We have a serious collection of breeding stock, the type of quality buyers usually have to wait until November to find,” Fasig-Tipton Director of Digital Sales Leif Aaron said. “Mare buyers will miss important opportunities if they don’t shop this sale.”
Horses of racing age offerings include graded stakes quality colts and geldings, as well as winners in their most recent starts. Racing/broodmare prospect offerings include graded stakes winners and performers that may be raced or bred.
“There is good quality and depth among the racehorse offerings in both the male and female divisions,” Aaron said. “Many of the fillies have global appeal and can even be bred right away on Southern Hemisphere covers.”
