LEXINGTON, KY—Fasig-Tipton has catalogued 670 entries for its December Digital Sale, which may be viewed at digital.fasigtipton.com. Bidding is now open and will close on the following schedule:
- Tuesday, Dec. 10, beginning at 12 p.m. EST: Hips 1-305, offering horses of racing age, racing/broodmare prospects, broodmare prospects, weanlings, and yearlings
- Wednesday, Dec. 11, beginning at 12 p.m. EST: Hips 306-end, offering broodmares
“This is the largest digital catalogue ever compiled worldwide,” Fasig-Tipton Director of Digital Sales Leif Aaron said. “There is quality at all levels that will suit a variety of national and regional breeding and racing programs. December Digital has become an important sale on the Thoroughbred auction calendar, and every serious player in our game needs to focus on this catalogue.”
The catalogue features 30 Florida-breds and includes more than 400 broodmares and broodmare prospects, 120 horses of racing age, 70 weanlings, and 50 yearlings. There are 120 covering sires represented, including American Pharoah, Cody’s Wish, Complexity, Constitution, Elite Power, Maclean’s Music, Mage, McKinzie, Nyquist, Omaha Beach, Practical Joke, Tapit, Tiz the Law, Vekoma, and Yaupon. Florida sires represented include Adios Charlie, Awesome Slew and Valiant Minister.
Offerings are located in Arkansas, California, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Ontario (Canada), Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia.
