Sheridan has been the Editor-In-Chief at the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders’ and Owners’ Association since 2012. He oversees all FTBOA publications including Wire to Wire and The Florida Horse magazine Farm and Service Directory; and handles communications and media relations for the association including press releases, podcast production and daily website news and information.

A graduate of the University of Arizona with a degree in Business Administration and the Race Track Industry Program, Sheridan has been involved in racetrack management, marketing and public relations for more than 40 years.

Sheridan previously served as the editor of The Texas Thoroughbred magazine and as associated editor at QuarterWeek magazine, Super Derby Festival magazine and RaceArabian. He has worked at Thoroughbred and Quarter Horse racetracks in marketing, public relations and racing in California, Texas, Kentucky, Washington, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Colorado.

He currently serves on the board of directors for the Turf Publicists of America.
