Charlotte Weber Named Florida Breeder of the Year

LEXINGTON, KY—The Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders Association announced today the recipients of the 2025 State and Canadian Breeders of the Year Awards, recognizing outstanding breeders whose achievements distinguished them during the 2025 racing season.
Charlotte Weber, who breeds in the name of her Live Oak Stud located in Ocala, was named the Breeder of the Year for Florida.
The breeders will be honored during the State and Canadian Breeders Luncheon on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Coolmore-Ashford Stud in Versailles, Ky., one day after the 41st Annual TOBA National Awards Dinner, which will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at The Kentucky Castle in Versailles, Kentucky.
National Award Finalists for Breeder of the Year, Small Breeder of the Year, Cot Campbell Partnership of the Year, and Owner of the Year will be announced on Friday, August 14.
“It is a great honor and privilege for TOBA to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of the state breeders,” TOBA president Dan Metzger said. “They each achieved remarkable success in 2025 and we look forward to celebrating with them in what promises to be a memorable evening at the Kentucky Castle.”
