This Florida-bred colt by Pleasant Acres Stallions’ Chess Chief has already started outrunning his dam, winner Violent Zap, by Violence. Foaled March 25 at Pleasant Acres Farm, the colt was bred in Florida by Enrique Arroya and Tyler Barry of Cape Coral, Florida.

This is the second foal out of Violent Zap, who has also produced an unnamed yearling colt by Simplification, who also stands Pleasant Acres Stallions. Violent Zap is out of the Ghostzapper mare Zapoutofit, a half-sister to multiple Group 1-winner and multiple group-winner North America (GB).
