Let’s play ball!

This talented Florida-bred colt is by Pleasant Acres Stallions’ Magic On Tap, whose first foals are 2-year-olds in 2026. Named Max Malini and foaled on January 23, the colt is the first foal out of the Jess’s Dream mare The Contessa and was bred by Martine Britell of Reddick, Florida. Also a homebred for Britell, The Contessa is out of the Bluegrass Cat mare Brass Cat, a half-sister to Grade 2-placed Mr. Kringle. The Contessa’s second dam is stakes-placed South Wing, a half-sister to stakes-winner Lord Langfuhr and stakes-placed duchess of Rokeby.
