OCALA, FL—The Florida Thoroughbred Breeders’ and Owners’ Association announced today the launch of an all-new online registration system for Florida-bred and Florida Sire Stakes foals, marking a significant advancement in digital services for the Florida Thoroughbred breeding community.

The new online platform at ftboa.com/florida-bred-registration-form allows breeders to complete registration applications and payments digitally, streamlining the process that previously required paper forms and mail submissions. The system represents another milestone in the FTBOA’s industry-leading digital transformation, building on comprehensive resources that include real-time Florida-bred race entries and results, a best-in-class state-bred registry search, membership services, and its’ proprietary Florida racing and breeding news feed.

The online system supports both Florida-bred registrations and Florida Sire Stakes nominations, leveraging the FTBOA’s recently announced fee elimination for 2025 foals. • Foals: August 31, 2025 ($0 FTBOA Members / $300 Non-Members)
• Extended Foals: December 31, 2025 ($0 FTBOA Members / $500 Non-Members)
• Yearlings: December 31, 2026 ($400 FTBOA Members / $800 Non-Members)

Florida-bred foals of 2025 sired by registered Florida stallions assume full eligibility for the Florida Sire Stakes upon successful Florida-bred registration by December 31, 2026.
