Troy Johnson and Maritza’s Weston’s Win N Your In will race on the grass and outside her native Florida for the first time Saturday when she travels to Monmouth Park for the $100,000 Blue Sparkler. Eleven 3-year-old fillies, including two entered under main track only conditions, are set for the five-and-a-half-furlong affair.

The Carlos David-trained Win N Your In already has a stakes victory to her credit this year with her commanding victory over fellow Florida-breds in the $110,000 Stonehedge Farm South Sophomore Fillies going seven furlongs at Tampa Bay Downs on March 30. She led at every point of call with Luis Saez aboard before drawing off in the stretch to defeat 8-5 favorite Bella Cleopatra by seven lengths.

In one start since, she was third against open company in the $75,000 Game Face won by Luvumorgan going six-and-a-half furlongs at Gulfstream Park on May 31.

After breaking her maiden by seven-and-a-half lengths in her second career start last year, Win N Your Win finished her 2-year-old season with three wins, including two stakes in six races, all at Gulfstream Park. She won the $95,000 Sharp Susan by nearly five lengths going six furlongs in August and the $200,000 FTBOA Florida Sire Stakes Susan’s Girl by four-and-a-half lengths going seven furlongs in October.

She now sports a lifetime record of four wins and four thirds in 10 starts while banking $317,860. Johnson purchased her for $12,000 as a yearling out of the Summerfield consignment at the 2023 Ocala Breeders’ Sales Company Winter Mixed Sale.

She is by Ocala Stud’s Win Win Win out of Hello Rosie, by Yes It’s True and was bred in Florida by Marion G. Montanari.

Win N Your has post five and a rider had not been named at press time.

She will try to join four other Florida-bred winners of the Blue Sparkler including Beauty of the Sea (2023), My Place Anytime (2013), Feel That Fire (2011) and Fearless Leader (2009).

Gata Brazil, Roja and Biscuitwiththeboss ship to Monmouth from Maryland after they finished first, second and third respectively in the $100,000 Stormy Blues going five-and-a-half furlongs on the grass course at Laurel Park in their last race on June 15.

Gata Brazil is trained by Brittany Russell for Nice Guys Stables, who paid $575,000 for the daughter of Into Mischief at the 2023 Keeneland September Yearling Sale.

She has won three of her six career races including being placed first through disqualification in a first level allowance race going five-and-a-half furlongs on the turf at Laurel on April 18. Between that race and the Stormy Blues, Gata Brazil was seventh in the $150,000 Take the A Train won by Love Cervere during the Belmont at Big A meet on May 10.

An earner of $118,850, Gata Brazil will be ridden by Isaac Castillo from post seven.

Roja, who is lightly raced with four lifetime starts, entered the Stormy Blues off of a four-and-a-half-length victory against special weight maiden fillies sprinting on the Luarel turf on May 25.

A daughter of Karakontie (Jpn) has earned $52,135 for owner Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and Madaket Stables LLC and is trained by Graham Motion.

Jamie Rodriguez takes the call from post eight on Roja.

The Stormy Blues was the first start of the year for Biscuitwiththeboss, who is also trained by Russell.

In six starts last year, she won a first condition, $62,500 optional claiming going five-and-a-half furlongs on the grass at Laurel in October and broke her maiden in her first out over a muddy four-and-a-half furlongs at Laurel in May.

With two wins in seven starts and one third, the daughter of Holy Cross has earnings of $81,722.
