- Members receive a 50% discount when registering their foals and stallions so that they may become eligible for breeders' incentive programs.
- Breeders' Incentive Program
- The FTBOA administers and pays out the Breeders' and Stallion Owners' Awards, insuring prompt payment. The FTBOA paid out $5,871,351 in Breeders' Awards, $505,000 in Stallion Owners' Awards and $2,117,000 in the Stakes Program in 2007.
- Pedigree Services
- Both the Jockey Club and Bloodstock Research computer services are available to its members at a discounted price.

- The FTBOA will be your voice in the state of Florida in all matters concerning the Thoroughbred industry.
- FTBOA Member events
- The Association hosts key events throughout the year. The Florida Thoroughbred Charities' (FTC) Annual Charity Stallion Season Auction is held each January in conjunction with the OBS sale. In February, it is the FTBOA Annual Awards Dinner and Ceremony to recognize important achievements, people, and horses in the Florida racing industry. FTC holds the live and silent auction in March in conjunction with the OBS 2YO in training sale. The Annual Meeting, Cocktail Party, and FTC's Golf Classic are held in October as part of Ocala Week. There are always social and educational opportunities that arise throughout the year for our members.
- Student Scholarships
- They are available for students* each year to any accredited university/college (2-yr & 4-yr programs) or accredited technical institutions. Application deadline is July of each year. Note: *Children, employees, & children of employees of FTBOA members are eligible.
- Office and Library Services
- Our office staff offers copy, notary, and fax services to all members. The library contains condition and sale books along with other research materials. Nominal fees may apply to some of these services.
- Golf Discounts

- Voting Privileges
- FTBOA members vote for and elect the Board of Directors of the association.
- Liaison Service
- The FTBOA acts as a liaison for its members by providing representation to the state government and agencies, horse councils and associations.
- Promotional Services
- The FTBOA serves as a promotional arm for the Thoroughbred industry. Promotional material and news releases are provided, as well as participation in tourism and trade shows.
- Agriculture Affiliation
- The FTBOA maintains close affiliations with the State Department of Agriculture, the Florida Chamber of Commerce, the University of Florida's College of Animal Science and Veterinary Medicine and other agriculture related associations.
- The Florida Horse Magazine
- A yearly subscription to The Florida Horse magazine.The publication will keep you abreast of industry news, the performance of Florida-breds nationally, and association activities.
- Education Programs
- The FTBOA sponsors numerous seminars throughout the year and works in conjunction with the University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Animal Science, the Marion County Cooperative Extension Service and the Central Florida Community College.
