FTBOA Member Events

The Association hosts key events throughout the year. The Florida Thoroughbred Charities' (FTC) Annual Charity Stallion Season Auction is held each January in conjunction with the OBS sale. In March, the FTBOA Annual Awards Dinner and Ceremony is held to recognize important achievements, people, and horses in the Florida racing industry. The Annual Meeting occurs in October as part of Ocala Week. There are always social and educational opportunities that arise throughout the year for our members.
Student Scholarships

They are available for students* each year to any accredited university/college (2-yr & 4-yr programs) or accredited technical institutions. Note: *Children, employees, & children of employees of FTBOA members are eligible.
Office and Library Services

Our office staff offers copy, notary, and fax services to all members. The library contains condition and sale books along with other research materials. Nominal fees may apply to some of these services.

Education Programs

The FTBOA sponsors numerous seminars throughout the year and works in conjunction with the University of Florida's College of Veterinary Medicine, the Department of Animal Sciences, the Marion County Cooperative Extension Service and the College of Central Florida.
