Florida stallion It’s No Joke was represented by his first winner on July 3 at Arlington Park when Playing a Joke won a 4 ½-furlong race.
The Frank Calabrese colorbearer covered the distance in :54.63. The winner, conditioned by Nick Canani, is out of the Play Fellow mare Jenny’s Playmate.
It’s No Joke, a son of Distorted Humor—It’s Personal, by Personal Flag, stands for $2,500 at Stonewall Farm in Ocala.
“We are very pleased to see It’s No Joke come out with his first winner, especially at a competitive summer meeting like Arlington Park,” said Michelle Hemingway of Stonewall Farm. “We have high hopes for this crop over the remainder of the year.”
