A total of $68,550 was raised Tuesday night for Florida Thoroughbred Charities during FTC’s annual live auction of stallion seasons at OBS, which followed the conclusion of the opening session of the winter mixed sale. A season to Journeyman Stud stallion Wildcat Heir brought the highest price of the auction.
Since its inception in 1990, FTC has helped to strengthen and improve the thoroughbred industry, the state and the community by contributing more than $3.5 million for charity. Proceeds from the fundraiser are dispersed through FTC to equine/education and community-related charities.
