Gulfstream Park Racing Secretary Dan Bork reminds horsemen that the deadline for trainers to register for the Claiming Crown is Friday, August 31.
The 14th edition of the Claiming Crown will be held Opening Day, Dec. 1 at Gulfstream Park. The Claiming Crown will feature seven races worth a total of $850,000.
“The Claiming Crown is a great day of racing for the blue-collar horses of our sport,” Bork said. “Trainers do not want to miss out on being eligible for this big event on Opening Day at Gulfstream Park.”
